# Day trips from Turks & Caicos

> Based in Providenciales, the only genuine 'day trip' range is inside the archipelago itself: North/Middle Caicos by ferry (Caribbean Cruisin', Walkin Marina/Heaving Down Rock Marina, ~25-30 min, several sailings daily), South Caicos by InterCaribbean Airways (~30 min flight, ~3/day), and Grand Turk by InterCaribbean Airways (~25 min flight, ~3/day). Beyond TCI, regional connections are thin: Miami is served by only one American Airlines rotation a day each way (~2h flight), Nassau by InterCaribbean/Bahamasair/BA with a single evening-out, next-morning-back rotation (~1h35-1h40 flight), and Santo Domingo by one InterCaribbean round trip a day (~1h10 flight) with barely 2 hours on the ground before the return leg. None of Miami, Nassau or Santo Domingo can be done as a genuine there-and-back-in-a-day trip on current schedules for an evening event - they are one-overnight propositions at best, flagged as such below.
