# Day trips from Monaco

> Monaco sits inside the Nice–Menton–Ventimiglia rail corridor, so day-trip range is generous: Nice ~20min, Menton ~10-15min, Antibes/Juan-les-Pins ~40-45min and Cannes ~55-60min by TER train or car along the A8; the Italian Riviera (Ventimiglia ~15min, San Remo ~35-40min) is one train change away; Aix-en-Provence and Grasse are ~2h and ~50min by car respectively (train to Aix means a change at Marseille, more like 2.5h). St-Tropez has no practical same-day boat/train link from Monaco (nearest useful port links run from Nice/Cannes, not Monaco), so it's not included as a day-trip despite being iconic — see note.
