Dominica has no genuine same-day-return option to any neighbouring island in July-August 2026. The only scheduled links to Guadeloupe and Martinique are L'Express des Iles/FRS ferry sailings out of Roseau (~2h30 to Pointe-a-Pitre, ~2h15 to Fort-de-France, roughly 5-7x/week each route) - but the published outbound and return times do not connect on the same day in either direction (e.g. Roseau-Fort-de-France departs 10:15/arrives 12:30, while the Fort-de-France-Roseau return leaves 09:45, before the outbound boat has even arrived). No airline currently flies Douglas-Charles (DOM) direct to Guadeloupe or Martinique: Air Antilles used to, but was liquidated in 2026; interCaribbean and Winair's DOM routes go to Antigua, St Lucia, St Kitts, Barbados and Tortola, not the French islands. Every event below therefore requires at least one overnight in Guadeloupe or Martinique - flagged accordingly rather than presented as a day trip.
