> Cascais sits at the end of the Linha de Cascais, the suburban rail line into Lisbon (Cais do Sodré), so Algés/Oeiras and central Lisbon are effectively a 15-35 min train ride, not a 'trip' at all — those events barely count as day trips. True day-trip range by car (own car or hire) extends to Vila Franca de Xira (~45-60 min via the A1, bypassing central Lisbon), Óbidos (~1h via A5/A8), Setúbal (~50 min-1h across the Ponte 25 de Abril/A2), and Évora (~1h35 via the A2/A6) — all comfortably there-and-back in a day. Events within Cascais/Estoril itself (e.g. the Rolex TP52 Worlds, Autódromo do Estoril) are excluded as home-jurisdiction.
